Details can change. Please confirm the date, time, location, and ticketing directly with the organizer before attending.

About this event

A poetry and spoken word open mic centered on justice, spirituality, and community, in the tradition of Emma Goldman's Mother Earth magazine. Come perform or just come and add your energy; a mic list will be available at the venue. Featuring FreeQuency, a Kenyan, immigrant, queer storyteller who won the 2018 Women of the World Poetry Slam and has spoken at TEDWomen, with poet and spoken word artist Analysis. RSVP through Red Emma's; a collection will be passed to support the featured poet. Please keep poetry non-erotic, and leave misogyny and homophobia outside. (via Red Emma's)
