Mickey Revenaugh’s new book School’s Out takes a look inside the quiet revolution reshaping how American children learn. In the wake of the pandemic, millions of American families have made a quiet but consequential decision: to leave traditional schools behind. Revenaugh takes readers inside the rapidly expanding world of unconventional education. She’s had an incredibly rich and varied career, from education journalist to online-learning pioneer. Locally, she’s a board member for Yellow Arrow Press, supporting the work of women writers in Baltimore and beyond. The Executive Director of the Press, Annie Marhefka, joins her in conversation at this event.
